The therapeutic massage is a fusion of three different types of treatment – foot reflexology massage, classic massage and manual lymph drainage – which can be combined to best suit your needs.

During a treatment session, your massage therapist at the HEART wellness lounge may use just one or two of these massage forms, or a combination of all three.

Foot reflexology massage

By stimulating the reflex zones in your feet, the energy flow in the body – and thus in the corresponding organs and body parts – is activated.

Classic massage

The classic massage helps to activate your circulatory functions and calm your nervous system.

Manual lymph drainage

Gentle circular, rotary and pumping movements stimulate the lymphatic system, allowing toxins to be eliminated from the body.

Application of therapeutic massage

By merging different forms of massage into one soothing therapy, the therapeutic massage can provide relief for the following ailments:

Health insurance refund

Before booking your therapeutic massage, please check with your supplementary health insurance provider if they will reimburse some of the cost of a ‘classic massage’, a ‘foot reflexology massage’ or ‘manual lymph drainage’, all of which include therapeutic massage. Your therapeutic massage can be paid by cash, by card or with TWINT at the HEART wellness lounge. We are happy to issue you a receipt upon request. This can be submitted to your supplementary health insurance provider, who will then refund you the stipulated amount.

Please note that, since January 2018, we are legally obliged to write ‘illness’ as the reason for treatment on the invoice and on the refund document.
